This product, applied to the litter tray, acts by instantly neutralizing and eliminating the ammonia that the cats urine gives off, thus deodorizing the sand and the tray. It is also very useful to eliminate bad odours from the sublayers that are used as a bed in rodent cages. It is completely harmless to the animal as it is odourless and colourless.

Living with cats

Keep food, water and the litter tray apart. Most cats will not drink next to where they eat.
Scoop the tray daily and wash it out with hot water and unscented detergent when you change the litter.
Put scratching posts where your cat already scratches rather than where it suits the room, or they will be ignored.
Wash fabric beds on a gentle cycle and keep the cat's own scent in the rotation by washing one item at a time.

Where the product or its packaging carries its own instructions, those take precedence over the notes here.
